Rising Kashmiri rappers Arsalan Afreen “Aatankki” & Tufail Nazir, who together helm Koshur rap’s iconic act Straight Outta Srinagar, and Ahmer have joined forces on a new independent single “PENDOWN”.
Produced by underground Malayali producer So Fire, the single arrives amidst high anticipation for “Versatile” SZN and marks SOS’ 4th rap record this year. The “Srinagar Anthem” rappers previously released “Masked Up”, “Leak 2021/Kaatib” and “Behoshi” which featured a guest verse by Ahmer.
For Ahmer, “PENDOWN” arrives ahead of his “last mixtape”. Reportedly, the fierce “AZLI” emcee has parted ways with Azadi Records with Seedhe Maut and marquee Delhi emcee & record producer Prabh Deep going independent in the past few months as well.
“PENDOWN” is yet to surface on streaming platforms.
