Indian rap superstar Badshah, born Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has finally opened up about perhaps the release date of his forthcoming album “Badworld”.
The long-awaited LP, which was first announced by Badshah in June this year, might drop in November. The legendary emcee, record producer, songwriter and mentor, who has already premiered the lead single “Gone Girl” from the LP, took to Instagram to announce that an “album” arrives next month.
“Album November,” Badshah wrote.
While Badshah is yet to reveal the exact release date for “Badworld”, the anticipation for his first full-length rap record in 3 years is at an all-time high.

However, whether Badshah is dropping the “Badworld” LP or a whole another album in November remains quite unclear.
In August, the flagrant “Players” emcee teased another full-length album in the works.
“…before i give you BADW🌏RLD, i want to give you something else,” Badshah wrote at the time.
The Delhi-bred rapper further asserted that through a Badworld prelude album, he wants rap fans to revisit the earliest days of his now iconic rap career.
“I want to let yall know why and how it all began… to take you back in time. I want to take you back to Pitampura, Vikaspuri, Rohini, Janakpuri, Rajori Garden. I want to take you back to my the Maruti zen’s,” Badshah wrote.
“I want to take you back to the time when we used to write lyrics with a pen on paper and not in our phones. I want to take you back to cassettes and decks,” the rapper said further.
If Badshah does release a prelude album, it won’t be the first instance that an emcee of such stature does so.
In fact, most recently rap icon Lil Wayne dropped a provocative prelude to his 13th studio album “Tha Carter VI”.
Aptly titled “Tha Fix Before Tha Six”, the Murda Beats, ManOhManFoster, Charlie Handsome, FNZ, Julian Munro, Swede & Wheezy-produced mixtape features guest vocals from Grammy-winning artist Jon Batiste, Britanny Fousheé and Young Money Entertainment’s Euro.
Notably, Badshah confirmed the “Badworld” album as early as November last year. At the time, the “Sanak” rapper and producer confirmed that a new EP “3:00 A.M. Sessions”, an album and a global tour is in the works for next year.
Culture Haze was the first publication to break that story in November.
