Punjabi R&B’s leading figure in India Talwiinder has returned with his long-awaited single. Titled ‘Sweet Talk’, the latest record clocks in at just over three minutes and is produced by NDS. The single arrives alongside an immersive visual treatment shot in Tokyo, Japan.
Notably, the track serves as the follow-up to Talwiinder’s NDS-produced collaborative effort ‘Bach Ke’ with Pakistan’s leading pop singer Hasan Raheem. Released in November last year, the single was released alongside a Cyberpunk videogame-inspired video which portrays the animated doppelgangers of the three artists looking for a woman in a city mired by surveillance.
Talwiinder took to Instagram to share an exclusive preview of ‘Sweet Talk’. Check it out below.

In November last year, Talwiinder shared a set of photographs from Tokyo, Japan. However, the young emcee didn’t reveal that a new project was in the works. In fact, fans speculated that the R&B singer is on a brief hiatus from music.

Talwiinder started his R&B career over five years ago. From there on, the Punjabi lyricist’s music has grown multi-folds. The 27-year-old singer has introduced a whole other vibe to Punjabi music with R&B-influenced choppy flows. Apart from a wide discography of solo singles such as Your Eyes, Nasha, Tera Saath and Gaah, Talwiinder collaborated with Yashraj for ‘Dhundhla’ which went on to become the top-selling record for both artists this year.
Talwiinder is often recognised through the sprawling paint on his face. While for some it may resemble the villainous ‘Joker’ from The Batman, for others, he resembles Playboi Carti who often performs with similar appearances.
