Yesterday, The Weeknd‘s iconic remix of “Trust Issues” surfaced on the artist’s Spotify profile. The infectious R&B record, which was originally released by October’s Very Own Drake ahead of his breakthrough debut album “Take Care” 12 years ago, arrived as part of a “hack” leading to the “Popular” singer’s account being compromised for well over a few hours.

Notably, the track did not appear on Apple Music or other streaming platforms and it raised initial doubts about whether the record is an official release by The Weeknd’s record label “XO” or Republic Records.

“Trust Issues” was further remixed by American pop singer and songwriter Justin Bieber. However, except for Drake’s original version, rest of the track renditions are yet to be released by the artists.

Champagne Papi himself re-released the single on his 2019 compilation album “Care Package”.
