Houston’s legendary rapper, record producer and songwriter Travis Scott, born Jacques Bermon Webster II, has announced the second “Utopia” concert in less than a month.
The rapper, who was originally slated to premiere his epic 19-track rap album at the “Pyramids of Giza” in Egypt, has now revealed that his fourth LP will be premiered at the historic “Circus Maximus” in Rome.
While Scott had to release his hard-hitting album without the unprecedented premiere, the rapper doesn’t seem to fall back on his word. Notably, “Circus Maximus”, which now serves as a public park in the Italian capital, was once the largest chariot-racing track in the Roman Empire.
Reportedly, Scott is slated to perform at the Romanian venue on August 7th 2023.
On July 28th 2023, Scott released his first rap record in five years.
Titled “Utopia”, the 19-track LP clocks in at an hour and 14 minutes and features guest appearances from some of the finest artists of our times. Beyoncé appears on “Delresto (Echoes)”, “FE!N” features Playboi Carti & Scott’s Cactus Jack affiliate Sheck Wes, “Meltdown” features Drake, “Lost Forever” features vocals flagrant by Westside Gunn & James Blake, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Sampha appear on “My Eyes” and “Looove” features Louis Vuitton’s rap royalties Pharrell Williams & Kid Cudi.
Further, La Flame recruits The Weeknd and Bad Bunny on “K-Pop” and various other artists – Teezo Touchdown, 21 Savage, Sampha, Swae Lee, Atlanta’s rap superstars Future and Young Thug and more drop incendiary verses across Scott’s follow-up to “Astroworld”.
The LP was released alongside a theatrical drama film “Circus Maximus”.
Look out for Travis Scott’s Romanian concert on August 7th 2023.
