Punjabi rap & pop superstar AP Dhillon has announced his India tour. The Toronto-bred emcee, who recently released his massive EP “The Brownprint” featuring Gunna, Jazzy B, Ayra Starr, Shinda Kahlon and more, is set to tour India in support of his record.

The announcement arrives amidst Punjabi emcees Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Aujla gearing up for their forthcoming “Dil-Luminati” and “It Was All A Dream” tours across India.

Notably, Aujla has added 5 new dates for his sold-out India tour. The “Winning Speech” and “Goin’ Off” rapper will now perform his debut live sets in Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. Further, Aujla has added a second date for his much-awaited tour stop in Mumbai.

Dhillon is yet to reveal any further dates about his forthcoming India tour. For the “GOAT” emcee, the forthcoming tour will mark his first live performance since his massive debut at the coveted Coachella Festival this summer.

At the time, Dhillon performed a slew of his biggest rap & pop records and appealed for imminent justice for Sidhu Moose Wala. Watch it below.

While Dhillon’s ardent fans have welcomed the “Sleepless” rapper’s decision to tour across India, a faction of Punjabi music has expressed concerns about his safety.

Earlier this month, Dhillon’s Toronto residence was shot at in a shocking firing by masked affiliates of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The incarcerated prime accused in Moosa’s murder, as part of a “planned drive-by shooting” alongside Goldy Brar, has claimed responsibility for the violence.

In March last year, Punjabi rap superstar Shubh was “forced” to cancel his 2-month-long “Still Rollin” tour in India. At the time, Dhillon, Aujla and Moosa’s parents expressed their concerns over “politically motivated hate” against the “Bandana” rapper.

Besides announcing his India tour, Dhillon has further previewed the sophomore cut “After Midnights” from “The Brownprint”. The music video premieres on 24th September 2024.
