Indian Rap Royalty Divine To Shut Down New York, Los Angeles, London, Birmingham, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto & More

Indian Hip-Hop royalty Divine, born Vivian Wilson Fernandes, is gearing up for massive live sets across the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia. Reportedly, Divine has made unprecedented changes to his “Baazigar” tour calendar which was originally restricted to Australia and New Zealand.

However, the legendary “Chorni” emcee has now revealed that he is in fact gearing for performing massive live sets across Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, London, Birmingham, Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, Brisbane & more.

Notably, the tour begins in Brisbane on August 11th 2023 – the 50th Birthday of Hip-Hop. Besides adding major cities to his debut global tour, Divine has further confirmed that he’ll be joined by Punjabi emcee Riar Saab throughout his tour.

The Gully Gang pioneer’s global tour arrives after a slew of hard-hitting live sets across India. Most recently, Divine gave Moosa his flowers during his historic live set in Ahmedabad. In fact, that tribute arrived amidst numerous Hip-Hop superstars mourning the loss of a true rap pioneer.

In March this year, Divine shut down Abu Dhabi at Wireless Festival. Performing alongside Indian R&B and Pop superstar King, Karachi’s ruthless rap duo Young Stunners, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert, the affecting rapper performed some of his most influential rap records, including the “Gunehgar” LP, at the time.

However, Divine isn’t the only major Indian artist touring across the globe this year. Last month, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstars Shubh and Diljit Dosanjh and Indian R&B pioneer King announced “Still Rollin”, “Born To Shine” and “Champagne Talk” world tours respectively.

The long-awaited debut tour by the “Cheques” rapper will traverse seven countries – India, the U.K., United Arab Emirates or the UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the U.S.

Look out for Divine’s “Baazigar” Global Tour this year.
