Kolkata’s very own hard-hitting rapper and songwriter J Trix, real name Jaitley Bhardwaj, has finally premiered the sophomore rap record from his major label EP “Middle Class Boys”.
Produced by Trix’s frequent collaborator Subspace, the single serves as the follow-up to the “Streets” rapper’s flagrant rap record “Gundagardi” with Ikka. With two rap records in, the anticipation for Trix’s forthcoming EP with Def Jam Recordings India has reached an all-time high.
Notably, Trix has premiered the latest single alongside a provocative music video. Directed by Indian Hip-Hop’s rising filmmaker Aayush Tater, the visuals capture the young rapper’s incendiary rap life in Kolkata and the wants and needs that further fuel it.

In 2023, J Trix has consistently released ruthless rap music. Besides “Gundagardi” and “Sexy”, Trix linked up with Subspace on the “Legacy” single in which he unapologetically dissed ‘autotune rappers’.
The single served as the follow-up to Trix’s “Banger Pro Max” released in March. Through his impactful discography which includes over 40 singles and an EP, J Trix has risen to far-reaching prominence in the Indian rap scene.
Earlier this year, J Trix released Subspace-produced rap records “Blow Up” and “One & Only”.
As for Def Jam Recordings India, the coveted label recently linked up with Marathi rap star Sambata on “Sod Lacharicha Paksh”.
Produced by “the Don’s” frequent collaborator and record producer Khakiee, the single marked Sambata’s swift return to rap music with his debut major label rap record.
