East Coast rap pioneer Nas, born Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones, has premiered the third visual treatment from his 18th studio album “Magic 3”.
Joining forces with cult rap figures Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan, De La Soul & more, the legendary emcee flexes unprecedented longevity of his sprawling rap career in “Sitting With My Thoughts” – the 10th rap record on Nas’ most recent and rumoured to be his last studio album with Hit-Boy.
The fragrant visual cut traverses exclusive footage from the Mass Appeal founder’s massive N.Y. State of Mind Tour and features a cameo by former NBA athlete Metta World Peace.
Amidst the hard-hitting rap record, Nas further members late West Coast emcee Nipsey Hussle too.
“That sh– comes with being great, it’s a lot on my plate
Never broke again, I’m blacker than the NBA
Espn couldn’t cover all of my highlights
Look at this money machine, I love what it sound like
And Nipsey would’ve loved that I’m working with Hit
He might’ve took me to 6-0 and turned me a Crip
It’s our money in,” Nas raps on “Sitting With My Thoughts”.

Besides releasing top-tier visual cuts, Nas continues to push South Asian rap music at an unprecedented scale with his marquee record label Mass Appeal India.
Earlier this morning, Punjabi rap superstar AP Dhillon announced his debut collaborative effort “Problems Over Peace” featuring this year’s BRITs nominee for “Song of The Year” Stormzy. The song drops midnight via Nas’ label.
Dhillon’s forthcoming single is preceded by breakthrough British emcee Raf-Saperra releasing his Mass Appeal debut “5 Deadly Venomz” last month.
The 5-track EP features guest verses by BET “Lyricist of The Year” nominee and legendary N.Y. emcee Conway The Machine, Harlem’s Nas prodigy Dave East, Big Boy Bes and Punjabi singer Japjeet Sandhu.
Recently, the “Illmatic” rapper further linked up with Karan Aujla in New York. The intimate meeting between Nas & “Street Dreams” rapper arrived within hours after the Punjabi emcee performed and registered a crucial win at the 53rd Annual Juno Awards.
