Punjabi Hip-Hop’s revered veteran Jazzy-B has released his highly anticipated record “Automatic Asla”. Produced by Dr Zeus, the track features South London’s underground emcee Nakeeta and arrives alongside hard-hitting visuals directed by Raf-Saperra.
“Automatic Asla” is the tenth rap record on Jazzy B’s recent record “Born Ready” with Dr Zeus. Released on January 25th this year, the album is home to Jazzy’s signature Punjabi folk and its distinct overture with trap and Hip-Hop.
Upon releasing the music video, Raf-Saperra left an affecting note for his people. The Punjabi emcee, record producer and singer, who released his debut “Ruff Around The Edges” mixtape in March this year, reminisced about directing the late Sidhu Moose Wala‘s “Celebrity Killer” music video featuring Tion Wayne.
Produced by Punjabi rap superproducer The Kidd, “Celebrity Killer” is the 22nd track on Moosa‘s third magnum opus “Moosetape”.
“I find myself back on the director’s seat for another artist after a long time. The last time I was directing another artist’s work it was for my brother @sidhu_moosewala in 2021! When @drzeusworld called me in Feb regarding shooting this video. It was a no-brainer. I was in,” Saperra wrote in an Instagram post.
“This is a special project for me as this video captures the long-awaited collab between myself and Jazzy B & also the video is entirely shot in South London from Walworth to Streatham,” the ‘Modern Mirza’ added further.
