Legendary Hip-Hop emcee and Indian Hip-Hop pioneer Sidhu Moose Wala, born Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, has released his third posthumous single. Titled ‘Mera Na’, the record is produced by Steel Banglez and features a guest verse from Moose Wala’s close associate Burna Boy. The record arrives after Banglez teased the record numerous times since October last year.
Earlier this week, Moose Wala stirred far-reaching conversations across social media after announcing the posthumous rap record on Instagram. Administered by his father Balkaur Singh, Moose Waala confirmed that his record is slated to drop on April 7th 2023.
The record is released alongside a hard-hitting visual treatment. Directed by Punjabi Hip-Hop’s influential filmmaker Navkaran Brar, the video portrays Moose Wala’s unprecedented influence on rap music even after his ill-fated death. Further, the video consists of a montage of remembrance and tributes for ‘Moosa’ including one by the ‘Her Loss’ emcee and OVO bossman Drake.
