The Bronx, New York-based emcee Lil Tjay – real name Tione Jayden Merritt has finally released his highly anticipated rap album “222”. The 15-track LP, which features numerous guest verses by rap’s influential artists including NBA YoungBoy, Coco Jones, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Jadakiss, Summer Walker and more arrives after over two years.
Just ahead of his hard-hitting rap record “Clutchin’ My Strap”, which doesn’t feature on Tjay’s latest album, the young rapper was arrested in New York for gun possession while he was on his way to a music video shoot with the Bronx’s rising drill rapper Ice Spice. As per many, the LP was allegedly delayed owing to Tjay’s controversial arrest.
Well, the “222” LP is here now. Ahead of the album, Tjay dropped this star-studded tracklist and the LP artwork. You can check it out here.
Further, Tjay dropped an exclusive BTS of his latest album alongside a vivid album trailer. Later today, Lil Tjay is slated to premiere the “Stressed” music video featuring Summer Walker too. Watch the making of the “222” rap album by Lil Tjay here.
