Legendary rapper and songwriter Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, has finally revealed “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” track list amidst high anticipation for his forthcoming 14th studio album “Tha Carter VI”.
The marquee emcee, who was most recently conferred with the “Rap Icon Award” at the prestigious 2023 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, has confirmed that “Tha Carter VI” prelude LP will feature 10 rap records and guest vocals from Grammy-winning artist Jon Batiste, Britanny Fousheé and Young Money Entertainment’s Euro.
Reportedly, Weezy’s forthcoming LP drops on Friday and features provocative song titles including “Act Up”, “Birds”, “Slip”, “Tuxedo”, “To The Bank”, “Chanel No. 1”, “No New Bitches”, “Tity Boy” and “Good Morning”.
Notably, Wayne’s recent single “Kat Food”, which samples Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honouree Missy Elliot’s iconic rap mega classic “Work It”, will appear on the record too. At the time of its release, fans and rap outlets across the globe presumed that “Kat Food” is in fact the sophomore lead single from Tunechi’s “Tha Carter VI” LP.
And rightly so. In February, Wayne teamed up with record producer Swizz Beatz on “Kan’t Nobody”. The hard-hitting single notoriously sampled another rap classic – “N*ggaz Done Started Something” by DMX.
However, “Kat Food” won’t appear on “Tha Carter VI”, Wayne has confirmed.

“Tha Carter VI” & “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” aren’t the only LPs which are on its way. Reportedly, the “Feds Watching” rapper 2 Chainz has a “mastered” joint album with Tunechi in the works.
During a recent sit-down with The Source Magazine, Chainz confirmed that the “COLLEGROVE 2” LP with Lil Wayne – a project which has been teased and previewed for over 3 years – “will be coming out before the year’s over with”.
“We’ve already shot two visuals, the photo shoot is over. We’re in the process now of mastering records. All the records are mixed, so it’ll be coming soon. I’m so excited about it and I’ve been talking about it so long. I’m anxious at this point to try to get it to the fans’ ears,” Chainz said.

Upon its release, the LP will serve as the sequel to Chainz Southern Hip-Hop Classic “Collegrove”. Notably, the LP was originally slated to be a joint collaborative effort with Wayne.
Yesterday, an unreleased 2 Chainz verse on Kanye West’s now-leaked “Jesus Is King II” LP surfaced online. The Dr. Dre-produced album, which is one of the 3 major Kanye West albums leaked this month, features further guest verses by Pusha T, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg.
Besides “Tha Fix Before Tha Carter VI”, Wayne has been dropping flagrant guest verses across Hip-Hop projects this month.
Recently, Lil Wayne linked up with New York’s legendary rapper and Mass Appeal’s founder Nas on “Magic 3” LP. Further, YG & TYGA recruited Lil Wayne on “Brand New” single from their debut joint LP “Hit Me When U Leave The Club”.
Last night, YG & TYGA premiered “Brand New” music video featuring Wayne. You can watch it below.
