After winning the highly coveted Indian reality show Bigg Boss, Pune-born young emcee and rap superstar MC Stan is gearing up for his debut India tour. While Stan has performed a slew of live sets across India before, this would be his most comprehensive tour in India yet.
MC Stan – real name Altaf Shaikh – has risen to massive stardom with his hard-hitting rap music and ghetto persona. Recognised across India for his street-inspired innuendos and authentic expression fuelled by Maharashtra’s poor suburbs that he grew up around, Stan has established himself as one of the most influential emcees in India.
Owing much to his provocative discography, fearless personality and appearance in India’s biggest reality TV Show Bigg Boss, Stan is known to a massive audience beyond just his music. At just 23 years of age, the young emcee is also one of the very few independent artists to blow up by releasing self-produced and penned-down rap records.
