Metro Boomin’s ‘Heroes & Villains’ LP Crosses 1 Billion Streams

Atlanta’s legendary record producer Metro Boomin’s sophomore LP ‘Heroes & Villains’ has surpassed a billion streams. The hard-hitting rap record, which serves as the follow-up to ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ and is reportedly a three-album project, was released in December last year.

Notably, the fifteen-track LP features guest appearances by John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, Young Nudy, The Weeknd, A$ap Rocky, Takeoff & Gunna. After the release, the LP debuted at the top spot on Billboard Top 200 and swiftly became Metro Boomin’s most successful project at the time.

This isn’t the first time that the legendary record producer has accomplished this feat. In fact, his collaborative efforts with 21 Savage ‘Savage Mode’ & ‘Savage Mode II’, ‘Without Warning’ with Offset and ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ have each surpassed a billion streams worldwide.

Metro Boomin – real name Leland Taylor Wayne – is one of the biggest hip/hop producers globally. The young producer is behind some of the leading ‘Atlanta Strip Club’ sounds with Future. However, his discography has expanded to new levels in the last few years and includes massive hip-hop records such as ‘Mask Off’ w/ Future, ‘Bad n Boujee’ w/ Migos, ‘Congratulations’ w/ Post Malone and more.

Reportedly, Metro Boomin and Future are gearing up to drop their debut collaborative effort this summer too.
