Mumbai’s hard-hitting rapper and songwriter Nazz, born Nihar Hodawadekar, has finally announced his sophomore rap record with India’s coveted Hip-Hop label Mass Appeal India. Reportedly, Nazz is gearing up for his forthcoming single “Kya Boltay”.
Produced by underground record producer Jiro Beatz, the single is slated to drop this Friday and arrives amidst high anticipation for new music by the iconic emcee. Upon its release, “Kya Boltay” will serve as the follow-up to Nazz’s major label debut “Gully Ka Sher”.
Produced by Punjab’s hard-hitting superproducer(s) Kru-172, the single followed the young rapper’s exclusive signing with the record label. Check out the exclusive “Kya Bolte” artwork shared by Nazz.
While Nazz’s forthcoming single with Mass Appeal India arrives this week, the record label made an unprecedented foray into Southern India’s flagrant rap scene and exclusively signed three hard-hitting emcees to its rapidly expanding roster of artists.
As reported earlier, Mass Appeal India has partnered up with Indian emcees Baby Jean, Vedan and Dabzee from Kerala. Nazz’s upcoming record might just pave the way for major label debuts by the three Malayali emcees this year. However, Mass Appeal has yet to reveal any further details on that front.

While the record label continues to push vernacular rap music across Maharashtra and Southern India, it has linked up with numerous Punjabi & Hindi artists for various cult records this year.
Most recently, Mass Appeal India linked up with Punjabi Hip-Hop/Rap and pop superstar AP Dhillon‘s Run-Up Records for his sprawling return to Punjabi music. Reportedly, the label inked an exclusive distribution deal for “With You”, “Sleepless” and “True Stories” by Dhillon.
Notably, KSHMR is gearing up for his debut Indian Hip-Hop LP “Karam” with Mass Appeal India after dropping two incendiary lead singles – “Haath Varthi” featuring MC Stan & Phenom and “Bhussi” featuring Seedhe Maut and Karan Kanchan.
Earlier today, KSHMR confirmed that the third single from his debut rap LP is slated to arrive this month. It’ll be further followed by the “album release date”, he announced via X, formerly Twitter.
