Pakistan‘s rising pop band Aur and British R&B singer of Pakistani descent Zayn Malik, professionally known as Zayn, have linked up on a new single.

Titled “Tu Hai Kahan”, the single is composed by ‘Aur’ band members Ahad Khan, Usama Ali and Raffey Anwar and features Zayn’s vocals on the original breakthrough single.

For Zayn, the single arrives amidst a long hiatus from pop and R&B music.

Ever since the release of his third studio album “Nobody Is Listening” nearly 3 years ago, the “Still Got Time” singer and emcee has premiered just a handful of songs including last year’s “Love Like This”, “Angel” with posthumous vocals by legendary blues and rock ‘n’ roll singer Jimi Hendrix and “To Begin”.

“Tu Hai Kahan” is the second notable release from Karachi this year. Recently, Talha Anjum‘s brother Umer Anjum released his sophomore EP “Against All Odds”.

The affecting remix premiered on Zayn Malik’s 31st birthday and “Aur” shared an exclusive preview with their fans just ahead of its release. Check it out below.

The single is released alongside an exclusive visual treatment. You can watch it below if you haven’t yet.

In other news, British emcee and record producer of Pakistani descent Raf Saperra is gearing up for his Mass Appeal debut. Reportedly, the “Ruff Around The Edges” rapper and singer is slated to drop his major label EP “5 Deadly Venomz” later this year.

The 5-track EP is set to feature a guest verse by Dave East. In November, Saperra premiered its lead single “Ranjha”.
