Delhi’s rap royalty Seedhe Maut, helmed by top-tier rappers Calm and Encore ABJ, has responded to Straight Outta Srinagar‘s diss track “Blackball”. Titled “TT/Shutdown”, the single is produced by the rappers themselves and arrives within 24 hours of SOS dropping their rap record against Seedhe Maut.

Across the flagrant rap single, Seedhe Maut calls out their former Azadi Records affiliates SOS for their ‘underlying hypocrisy’ and flexes their rags to riches.

While Calm finds himself perplexed at SOS’ abrupt diss track against them and reminds the Indian rap game of how the Kashmir-bred group were one of the earliest “Seedhe Maut Fanboys” instead, ABJ drops increasingly controversial bars and warns SOS to rather stay in Srinagar – their home turf and do not come in Delhi.

Notably, amidst Seedhe Maut & Straight Outta Srinagar, Ahmer has sided with the latter.

Seedhe Maut is yet to release the exclusive “TT/Shutdown” visual treatment yet. Listen to the track below via YouTube.

For Seedhe Maut, “TT/Shutdown” arrives within days after the massive single “Bure Din”. Produced by Kar Hisab, the hard-hitting track features a guest verse by Chicago’s rap pioneer Mick Jenkins.

With the release of the two top-tier singles this summer, Seedhe Maut now gears up for their fourth studio album “Kavi Kehna Chahte Hai”.

The LP, rumoured to be released later this year, will be followed by the incendiary Hip-Hop duo’s debut performance at Wireless Festival Abu Dhabi alongside Karan Aujla, 21 Savage, Raf Saperra, SZA, Faris Shafi & more.
