Delhi-based ‘Seedhe Maut’ sure loves performing music as much as making it. After the release of their second studio album ‘Na’, the hip-hop powerhouse has been consistently on-and-off the road.
Following a multi-city India tour after ‘Na’, they have been performing and releasing new music ever since. Released on 9th September last year, the album featured massive hits such as ‘Nawazuddin’, ‘Nanchaku’ featuring MC Stan and ‘Namastute’.
However, less than a year later, they teamed up with the iconic Sez on the Beat for another full-length project. Titled ‘Nayaab’, Seedhe Maut solidified their reputation as the “best in the business” with stunnimg lyricism and production on ‘Gandi Aulaad’, ‘Maina’, ‘Rajdhani’ and more. The record was released through Azadi Records and The MVMNT.
Ever since the release of their second full-length project, Seedhe Maut has performed at two multi-city India tours as part of their album tour season with ‘Na’ and ‘Teen Dost Tour’ with Sez, a headlining set at Verified Festival, NH7 Weekender and MTV Hustle.
The Delhi-bred emcees are also slated to perform on Azadi Records’ Fifth Anniversary tour alongside Ahmer, Prabhdeep, Ali Saifuddin, Jelo, Tienas and Rebel 7 in November this year. The four-city tour will begin on 12th November in Bangalore and end with three back-to-back performances by Azadi’s roster in three different cities in as many days – Pune (18th November), Mumbai (19th November) and Delhi (20th November).
The latest tour, called the ‘Bhussi Tour’ will kick-off in Hyderabad on 5th November and head towards Bangalore a week later. While the dates for these two cities and Pune, Mumbai, Pilani, Jaipur and Ahmedabad are out, more cities will be added soon to the schedule. DJ Blunt will join the group during their live sets across India.
