Dehradun’s iconic Hip-Hop collective Team Evolution has just released its latest rap record. Spearheaded by Dakait and Aniket Raturi, who together form a crucial part of The MVMNT alongside Sez on The Beat, the hard-hitting single “Ud Chalein” is produced and engineered by the young emcees themselves.
Notably, the single is released amidst Dakait announcing new music. The rapper recently revealed that he has been “working on multiple tracks” and will drop them across the year.
Dakait and Aniket Raturi have made a far-reaching impact on Indian Hip-Hop. Last year, the young emcees performed with Sez On the Beat at NH7 Weekender Pune. The Dehradun-bred rappers linked up with The MVMNT’s labelmates Yungsta and Ab 17 for a massive live set.
Dreamville’s JID, Bengaluru’s Hanumankind, Kr$na and more performed as part of the same roster. Further, Kalamkaar’s bossman Raftaar crashed Kr$na’s live set. During the sprawling two-day festival, the Time Will Tell emcee dissed Emiway Bantai amidst a sporadic beef.
