Punjabi gangsta rap pioneer and rising emcee Wazir Patar has finally dropped his sophomore rap album “Street Knowledge”.
Clocking at just over 30 minutes, the star-studded 16-track LP features guest verses by rap pioneer Raja Kumari, the “Racks & Rounds” rapper Sikander Kahlon, Canadian emcee AR Paisley, legendary L.A.-bred Punjabi rapper J. Hind, folk singer Kiran Sandhu and “Pind Da Riwaaz” rapper Azaad.
For Patar, the LP serves as the follow-up to his sprawling debut LP “Sanu Dekhda Zamana”.
Released over three years ago in May, the breakthrough album featured guest appearances by numerous Punjabi artists on the come-up and paved the way for Patar’s cult rap records including “The Last Ride” with Sidhu Moose Wala, “Notorious”, “Wahzirinthehood” among various others.
The “Street Knowledge” LP is entirely produced by Patar himself and is now home to incendiary Punjabi gangsta rap and pop records including “Bread and Butter”, “Immortal”, “Dark Drip”, “Eve Teaser”, “Waqbi”, “Remember”, “Streetwise”, “Sandookh” and “Black Heart”.

Just ahead of the album, Patar premiered “Dark Drip” alongside an epic visual treatment. Directed by Gurjant Panesar, the music video captures Patar swerving in the streets of Amritsar, Punjab in vintage Mercedes and bandanas.

“Street Knowledge” is Patar’s swift return to pure gangsta rap. Patar’s lethal verses and hard-hitting record productions sample gunshots, Glocks and slick rhythms across the riveting LP.
As reported earlier, Patar has been switching genres vehemently this year.
While Patar’s most recent track “Suneya Main” was an abrupt R&B record, it was preceded by “The Last Ride” producer’s iconic gangsta rap EP “Back To Skool”.
Recently, the late Punjabi rap superstar Sidhu Moose Wala and his protégé Wazir Patar’s alleged unreleased track leaked online. Titled “Katl”, the hard-hitting track first surfaced on YouTube and later joined a slew of unreleased Moose Wala records that have leaked since his controversial death in Mansa, Punjab last year.
