West Bengal’s J Trix Disses ‘Autotune’ on New Single ‘Legacy’, Drops Hard-Hitting Music Video

Kolkata, West Bengal-born emcee and songwriter J Trix, real name Jaitay Bhardwaj, has released his latest rap record. Titled “Legacy”, the affecting rap record is produced by his frequent collaborator Subspace and is Trix’s fourth hard-hitting rap single this year.

The provocative track has J Trix dissing autotune and embracing gruff “freestyle” rap music. In fact, J Trix is recognised across the Indian Hip-Hop scene for his distinct choppa flow and ruthless vocal delivery on tracks often produced by Subspace.

“Legacy” serves as the follow-up to Trix’s “Banger Pro Max” released in March. Through his impactful discography which includes over 40 singles and an EP, J Trix has risen to far-reaching prominence in the Indian rap scene.

Earlier this year, J Trix released Subspace-produced rap records “Blow Up” and “One & Only”.

J Trix’s latest drop is released alongside a hard-hitting visual treatment filmed on his home turf. You can watch the ‘Legacy’ music video by J Trix here.
