Mumbai’s Hip-Hop pioneer Yashraj Mehra, oftentimes referred to as just ‘Yashraj’, has released his highly anticipated rap record “Masroor”. Clocking at exactly three minutes, the single received further record production assistance from Delhi’s “Sab Chahiye” producer Bharg Kale and serves as the follow-up to Yashraj’s hard-hitting track “Bombay Coast”.
Notably, this is Yashraj and Katoptris’ sophomore collaborative effort. The towering emcees previously linked up on “DLL” released almost two years ago. The track arrives within a day after Yashraj announced the track on social media and revealed the exclusive artwork.
Whether the immersive record will have a visual treatment hasn’t been confirmed by Yashraj yet. “Masroor” is Yashraj’s 5th rap record and fans have begun to speculate whether the young emcee, recognised for his enthralling magnum opus “Takiya Kalam”, will release a full-length project this year.
Notably, Yashraj is speculated to have a guest verse on KSHMR’s debut Indian rap album “Karam”. The legendary DJ and superproducer premiered the sophomore single from the LP earlier today.
Titled “Bhussi”, the track features a guest verse from Delhi’s iconic Hip-Hop act Seedhe Maut and receives record production assistance from Karan Kanchan. The incendiary single serves as the follow-up to Karam’s lead single “Haath Varthi” featuring Indian Hip-Hop superstar MC Stan.
