Amidst high anticipation for his Mass Appeal debut with record producer Umair, Karachi’s lethal emcee Talha Anjum and Young Stunners affiliate Talhah Yunus linked up with Bohemia in Islamabad.
The Pakistan-bred Urdu rappers, revered for top-tier rap music across two entire generations, further gave each other their flowers and discussed the disruptive rap scene across borders.
“I had the pleasure of meeting the king of Punjabi rap legendary Bohemia. We talked about our journeys and I told Big Brother how his creation desi hip hop changed my life and got me into Urdu rap…,” Anjum said about his link up with Bohemia.
Bohemia and Young Stunners’ chat has led to far-fetched collaboration rumours.
Earlier this summer, Bohemia linked up with breakthrough Punjabi singer Talwiinder too. At the time, the veteran “Da Rap Star” hinted at a debut collaboration which was later confirmed strongly by the “Misfit” singer.
For Anjum, the link-up arrives amidst back-to-back releases ahead of a long hiatus from rap music.
Most recently, Anjum joined forces with JJ47 and record producer Jokhay on the “10 Minute Drill” EP. It was preceded by two flagrant projects with Umair – “For Tha Dogs” and “Ghosts & Goodbyes”.
In other news, Delhi emcee Prabh Deep has premiered the debut visual treatment from his feature-stacked mixtape “DSP”. Titled “Ustaadi”, the cut is directed by Awais Gohar and features Pakistan’s flagrant “Felony” rapper Faris Shafi.
Watch it below.
Look out for Bohemia and Young Stunners’ debut collaboration.
