Hip-Hop and R&B superstar Chris Brown – often referred to as Breezy – has just released the epic visuals for ‘Psychic’. Directed by Cameron Dean, the stunning visuals feature the ‘Like A Blade of Grass’ emcee Jack Harlow and Cassie. Dean is one of the finest R&B filmmakers who has led the direction on ‘Shot Again’ by Drake’s OVO labelmate Roy Woods and ‘Welfare’ by RMR (pronounced as Rumour) in the past.
The music video arrives amidst Brown’s ‘Under The Influence’ world tour. The legendary Virginia Beach-based rapper and R&B singer is presently touring in Europe which wraps on March 26th in Paris, France. His latest visual effort ‘Psychic’ follows numerous top-selling music videos from the LP including ‘Iffy’, ‘C.A.B. (Catch A Body)’ feat. Fivio Foreign, ‘Call Me Everyday’ feat. Wizkid and more.
Besides getting closer to Cassie, Brown pays a tribute to Michael Jackson by sporting a Thriller-inspired red jacket. The ‘Exclusive’ rapper often cites Jackson to be his foremost inspiration behind taking up dancing at just 11 years of age. Interestingly, the Nick Cassidy-produced record samples Cassie’s 2006 hit record ‘Me & You’.

Notably, ‘Psychic’ is the eleventh record from Brown’s tenth studio album ‘Breezy’. Released on June 24th 2022, the massive 24-track LP features guest appearances from rap heavyweights including Anderson .Paak, Blxst, EST Gee, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Jack Harlow, Wizkid, Fivio Foreign, Tory Lanez, Yung Bleu and Bryson Tiller. While the album was a commercial success, ‘Breezy’ marked Brown’s lowest charting album in the U.S. since 2009 after debuting at number four on the Billboard Top 200 at the time.
