Some of the leading acts in global and Indian Hip-Hop are gearing up for back-to-back live sets in Pune. Performing at the long-awaited VH1 Supersonic Festival this week, Hip-Hop heavyweights Tyga, Divine, Seedhe Maut and T.ILL Apes are coming together for the iconic three-day festival.
Notably, this will be the ‘Sheikh Talk’ rapper’s live debut in India. In fact, the legendary rapper behind some of the most influential rap records in Hip-Hop including ‘Rack City’, ‘Faded’ featuring Lil Wayne, ‘Hookah’ featuring Young Thug, ‘Ayo’ & ‘Loyal’ featuring Chris Brown, ‘Taste’ featuring Offset and more is slated to headline the concert this year.
Tyga – real name Micheal Ray Nguyen-Stevenson – will perform his biggest hits on February 26th at the three-day festival in Pune. Tyga’s performances follow massive live sets by Dreamville’s J.I.D. at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in Pune, Offset at the Steppin Out Festival in Bengaluru, Post Malone at the Feeding India Initiative in Mumbai and Russ’ sold-out shows in Mumbai & Delhi as part of his ‘Journey Is Everything’ tour.

Divine is fresh off his top-selling live set at Lollapalooza Festival in Mumbai. Performing alongside Imagine Dragons, Punjabi Hip-Hop superstar AP Dhillon, T.ILL Apes and more, the Gully Gang bossman has made an everlasting impact on India’s burgeoning live scene since the release of his third LP ‘Gunehgar’.
Notably, India’s Hip-Hop royalty has been performing under the ‘Gunehgar India Tour’ banner since his album launch concert in Mumbai himself. Further, the ‘Baazigar’ emcee is slated to perform at the iconic Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi in March. Divine will be joined by Houston’s legendary emcee Travis Scott, Philadelphia’s ‘Just Wanna Rock’ rapper Lil Uzi Vert and Indian Hip-Hop and R&B superstar King. Karachi-based Young Stunners are performing at the highly coveted festival too.
