Pop and R&B superstar The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, is gearing up for his new single with Atlanta’s Hip-Hop pioneer Future. Titled “Double Fantasy”, the single is produced by rap superproducers Metro Boomin and Mike Dean. Reportedly, the record serves as the lead single to ‘The Idol’ – an upcoming drama series created by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, Reza Fahim, and Sam Levinson- original soundtrack.
The Weeknd has teased the record numerous times. Previously, the Toronto-born singer, who recently linked up with Metro Boomin, 21 Savage and Rap mogul ‘Puff Daddy’ or Diddy on Creepin’ Remix, previewed the record during an Instagram live. Further, The Weeknd crashed Metro Boomin’s “Trochella” live set at this year’s Coachella. Besides performing Creepin’ alongside Diddy and 21 Savage, the XO frontman performed the upcoming record as well. Watch The Weeknd performing ‘Double Fantasy’ here if you haven’t yet.
