Metro Boomin Recruits Rap Billionaire Diddy For ‘Creepin’ Remix’ With 21 Savage and The Weeknd

Hip-Hop Billionaire, Bad Boy Records CEO and music business mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, a.k.a. Puff Daddy, a.k.a. P Diddy has just dropped his guest verse on Metro Boomin’s ‘Creepin’ feat. 21 Savage and The Weeknd. While the latest contribution from Diddy, who is presently vying for a major stake in Black Entertainment Television, might stir surprises for many, a closer observation of the record’s origins points otherwise.

Creepin’ is the 10th rap record on Boomin’s recently released sophomore LP “Heroes & Villains”. Notably, the record samples Mario Winans’ 2003 record “I Don’t Wanna Know” feat. Enya and Sean Combs himself. Bootlegged at first, the influential R&B single was released through Diddy’s Bad Boy Records label on February 17th 2004.

Earlier today, The Weeknd previewed a visual treatment of the Creepin’ Remix. You can watch it here if you haven’t yet.

The Metro Boomin-produced single was originally released as part of his top-selling LP “Heroes & Villains”. Released on December 2nd 2022, the fifteen-track record features guest appearances by John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, Young Nudy, The Weeknd, A$ap Rocky, Takeoff & Gunna. Interestingly, this is Boomin’s second LP from a now-confirmed LP trilogy.

The first project, which was also Boomin’s solo debut effort, “Not All Heroes Wear Capes” is a provocative twenty-six-track two-disc project which featured guest appearances by Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Young Slime Life’s Gunna & Young Thug, Wizkid, J Balvin, Offset, Kodak Black and Drake on Disc 1 alongside an instrumental disc 2. The album was released on November 6th 2018.

“They ain’t real thеn they ain’t Puff
Ain’t a place in this world that my feet ain’t touch
I got visions that cost millions and make billions
Baby girl, we can make love and make trillions, damn
Baby, you my curse and my crush
I walk to the ends of the earth for your touch
Ride for you, cry for you, die for you
Never gon’ say “Goodbye” to you
Never lie to you, life ain’t perfect, we just live it
F*** what they say we did, we just did it
I’m the DeLeón sipper, bad b**** getter
With the top down screamin’ out “Fuck them n*****,”
Diddy raps on the remix.
