After Logic, NLE Choppa Might Sell Rap Music Catalogue For ‘A Billion Dollars’ At Just 20 Years of Age

A few days after Maryland’s iconic emcee, record producer and songwriter Logic, born Robert Bryson Hall II, parted ways with his affecting discography in a reported “eight figures” buyout, Memphis’ rising emcee NLE Choppa has revealed plans for selling his rap music catalogue.

The young rapper, who recently released his sophomore LP “Cottonwood 2” and its massive 31-track Deluxe, has confirmed that he would “sell his catalogue right now” if paid a billion dollars for it. Choppa, who is just 20, has two studio albums and at least four mixtapes – “No Love: The Takeover”, “Narco Choppa”, “From Dark To Light and “Me Vs. Me” to his name.

For many, Choppa’s speculation for his discography seemed far-fetched.

Hip-Hop pioneer Logic has reportedly amassed eight figures for 185 rap titles which include his multi-platinum single “1-800-273-8255” with Alessia Cara and Khalid, “Everyday” with Marshmello, “Homicide” with Eminem and “Sucker For Pain” with Lil WayneWiz Khalifa, Imagine Dragons and Ty Dolla $ign.

ESPN’s contributing author on the National Basketball Association, or the ‘NBA’, further commented that the former Cash Money affiliate and Grammy‘s “Global Impact Honoree” Lil Wayne sold his catalogue for $100 Million with “26 Grammy nominations and 18 Top 10 songs.”

While Choppa might be way short of a billion dollars in catalogue sales, the young emcee still holds an unprecedented influence over the global rap scene with a brief discography. For many, Choppa stands tall next to NBA YoungBoy – another young rapper recognised across the globe for consistent releases.

Most recently, NLE Choppa premiered the “Champions” music video featuring appearances from some of the finest athletes on the planet including Mike Tyson, Angel Reese, Odell Bekcham Jr., Floyd Mayweather, Jewell Lloyd, Michael Andrew, and LeBron James among others. Watch it below.
