Ahead of ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ Soundtrack, Metro Boomin Previews ‘Link Up’ With Don Toliver

Atlanta’s legendary rap superproducer Metro Boomin, who appears to be gearing up for perhaps the most successful run of his rap career this year, has begun the rollout of his ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ original motion picture soundtrack. The producer, who most recently teamed up with The Weeknd, Future and Mike Dean on “Double Fantasy”, has previewed the first rap record from the long-awaited OST album.

Reportedly, Metro Boomin has confirmed another guest verse by Don Toliver. Titled “Link Up”, the preview is a part of an exclusive Hyundai Europe commercial which features Toliver. Earlier this year, Boomin and Toliver released “Too Many Nights” alongside the ATL Freebandz CEO Future.

Interestingly, Future is gearing up for at least two projects of his own. Earlier this year, Zaytoven and Chicago’s influential emcee and OTF bossman Lil Durk announced joint albums with the rapper as well.

The preview arrives amidst Boomin gearing up for his Spider-Man debut. Besides producing the soundtrack for the film, the young producer is further slated to make an appearance in the movie too. Directed by Kemp Powers, Justin K. Thompson and Joaquim Dos Santos, the highly-anticipated animated film is set to premiere on June 2nd 2023.

This is turning out to be a massive career run for Metro Boomin. The producer, who is fresh off his top-selling sophomore solo LP “Heroes & Villains”, has confirmed his debut collaborative effort with Future. Further, Dreamville’s JID confirmed that a joint album with Boomin is in the works too.

Look out for Metro Boomin’s ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ soundtrack on June 2nd 2023.
