Breaking: AP Dhillon, Inderpal Moga, Channi Nattan, Shinda Kahlon and Ikky Hint At ‘Summer High Fest’ W/ Drake, Don Toliver & More

Punjabi Hip-Hop superstars AP Dhillon, Inderpal Moga, Channi Nattan, Shinda Kahlon and superproducer Ikky have hinted at their potential involvement in “Summer High Fest”.

Earlier today, Dhillon, Kahlon, Moga, Nattan and Punjabi superproducer Ikky, who is currently working on Karan Aujla‘s hotly anticipated rap record this summer, teased what seems to be the roster of artists performing live at the lesser-known fest.

Ever since the announcement on social media, Punjabi rap listeners have begun speculating whether this is Dhillon’s latest move aimed at expanding his influence beyond hard-hitting rap and pop records.

Notably, the Instagram profile of “Summer High Fest” follows just ten emcees and superproducers. This includes Dhillon, Kahlon, Moga, Nattan, Ikky and global rap superstars Drake and Don Toliver.

Given Drake’s long-time association with Punjabi rap music in Toronto, it won’t be a surprise to see Dhillon performing alongside the “Who Told You” rapper. Last year, the legendary multi-platinum emcee paid his tributes to Moosa on Day 1 of OVO Fest.

Further, the late Punjabi Hip-Hop pioneer Sidhu Moose Wala, Jassa Dhillon, Punjabi record producer Intense and “Jackman” producer Boi1-Da and Toronto’s rising emcee Killy are among the list of artists followed by Summer High Fest.

While the official festival dates and the exact roster of performers are yet to be confirmed, the event will be spearheaded by Live Nation Canada and might go down in Toronto.

As reported earlier, AP Dhillon & Shinda Kahlon recently released their latest collaborative effort “True Stories”. The hard-hitting single arrives amidst numerous Punjabi Hip-Hop superstars releasing new pieces of music including “Hard Choices” by Gurinder Gill and “Still Rollin” by Shubh.

Notably, Gurinder Gill and Shubh are yet to hint at their potential involvement as live performers in the “Summer High Festival”.
