Delhi’s rapstars Calm & Encore ABJ, who together helm the lethal rap act Seedhe Maut, have shocked fans with a new project. Titled “Shakti”, the flagrant top-tier project is mired by provocative Bollywood discotheque and traverses 4 new tracks – “Soi Nahi”, “Raat Ki Raani”, “Naksha” and “Khush Nahi”.
Across the brief project, produced entirely by Calm, Seedhe Maut samples slick rhymes & music from Hindi cinema and raps about various themes including their flagrant rap life and infamous streets of Delhi-NCR.
For the fierce rap duo, the EP arrives just ahead of their debut live concert in London and the forthcoming India tour.

Notably, “Shakti” is one of the two projects by Seedhe Maut. Ahead of releasing the project, the infectious “Bure Din” rappers asked their ardent fans to choose between “Shakti” and another EP “Shama” hinting at the latter’s imminent release this summer.
Amidst releasing music and announcing top-tier concerts, Seedhe Maut is further gearing up for its massive Wireless Festival debut.
As reported earlier, the “Lunch Break” rappers will join forces with American rap superstar 21 Savage, Karan Aujla, SZA and Raf Saperra in Abu Dhabi in November this year.
In other news, Karachi’s lethal emcee Talha Anjum and record producer Umair have joined forces on another EP “For Tha Dogs”. The hard-hitting project arrives amidst high anticipation for Anjum & Umair’s forthcoming music with New York’s coveted record label Mass Appeal.
