Kalamkaar’s rap royalty Kr$na – real name Krishna Kaul – has confirmed that he is slated to release a new rap record this week. The ‘I Guess’ emcee took to Instagram to announce that a new track is in fact on the way this Saturday. Notably, this would be Kr$na’s first track in 2023.
Kr$na is fresh off his guest appearance on Talha Anjum’s fourth track from his top-selling debut LP. Titled ‘Touchbase’, the hard-hitting record on ‘Open Letter’ LP featured Talhah Yunus as well.
The news arrives amidst Kr$na’s ongoing ‘the Dollar Sign’ India tour. Kickstarted on January 29th in Pune, the ferocious emcee will reportedly perform across India including Jaipur, Lucknow, Goa, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Delhi.
With this announcement, the ‘Kalamkaar’ record label looks set for a busy 2023. Last week, the label’s bossman Raftaar dropped a surprise EP with Azadi Records’ Prabhdeep. Titled ‘PRAA’, the latest project includes four hard-hitting rap records including ‘ABBU’, ‘BADNAM’, ‘HELLO’ and ‘TRAP PRAA’.
