Electronic Dance Music, Hip-Hop & Trap superproducer Kshmr has announced the sophomore rap single from his highly anticipated Hip-Hop record “Karam”. The legendary record producer has reportedly linked up with Delhi’s incendiary Hip-Hop pioneers Calm and Encore ABJ – together referred to as Seedhe Maut.
Titled “Bhussi”, the rap record receives guest record production from the Gully Gang affiliate and another rap superproducer Karan Kanchan. Notably, “Bhussi” will serve as the follow-up to KSHMR’s wildly popular rap record and Karam‘s lead single “Haath Varthi” featuring MC Stan and Indian rap’s influential record producer Phenom.
The record is slated to release through Mass Appeal India on June 30th,2023. The coveted label shared an exclusive preview of the single. Watch it below.
In May this year, KSHMR spoke to Culture Haze about working with Seedhe Maut on, perhaps, the biggest rap album in India this year.
“When we’re doing the Seedhe Maut record, they had ideas for, you know, changes to the beat… times when the beat would drop out completely and would make the raps sound just awesome. Everything they suggested worked,” KSHMR said at the time.

The hard-hitting record arrives amidst KSHMR’s consistent live sets across the globe. On June 24th, the global electronic music superstar performed in Shanghai, China. The sprawling live set, one of the five live sets by KSHMR across the “Middle Kingdom”, occurred during his swift return to dance music with the “Heartbeat” single.
As for Seedhe Maut, the young pioneers are gearing up for their fourth mixtape “Lunch Break”. The LP, which will reportedly feature 30 rap records, is considered by many as one of the biggest rap records this year already.
On June 23rd, exactly a day before KSHMR performed his final live set of the China tour, Seedhe Maut premiered “W”. Produced by the underground rap producer Hurricane, the record has stirred unprecedented anticipation for Seedhe Maut’s upcoming project.
“Bhussi” will be the biggest rap release by Mass Appeal India this month. While Mumbai’s hard-hitting emcee Nazz dropped his extraordinary major label debut “Gully Ka Sher” on June 9th, 2023, the massive record label teamed up with Punjabi Rap superstars AP Dhillon & Shinda Kahlon to release the “True Stories” single.
