Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa and Maybach Music Group veteran Rick Ross have announced their debut collaborative effort. Titled “Rich Life”, the forthcoming single is produced by DJ Shadow Dubai and releases on September 20th.
For the iconic “Too Good To Be True” rapper, “Rich Life” marks his first rap record with an Indian artist and arrives amidst various Punjabi artists releasing collaborations with global rap MVPs.
Earlier this summer, AP Dhillon released his top-tier EP “The Brownprint” featuring Gunna, Shinda Kahlon and more. The project was preceded by the “Sleepless” rapper’s “Problems Over Peace” featuring British Grime MVP Stormzy.
Besides Dhillon, Punjabi emcee Diljit Dosanjh joined forces with American rap & pop superstars on four massive Punjabi records – “Muhammad Ali” featuring NLE Choppa, “Khutti” featuring Saweetie, “Hass Hass” with Sia and “Palpita” with Camilo Echeverry.
Reportedly, the single will be released alongside a top-tier visual cut filmed in Dubai. Check out the flagrant “Rich Life” preview and artwork below.
In other news, Indian rap moguls Sidhu Moose Wala and Badshah have entered Spotify’s “Top 10 Most Followed Hip-Hop Artists” globally.
As reported earlier, the slain “Attach” emcee Moosa and “Jagga Jatt” rapper have debuted at the 5th and 10th spot respectively and joined a slew of cult rap figures including the #1 Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott and Eminem in the coveted list.
Look out for “Rich Life” by Guru Randhawa & Rick Ross.
