Legendary Punjabi Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B and Pop singer Diljit Dosanjh has finally premiered his long-awaited single “Palpita”. Released via Coke Studio, the alternative Indian pop record features a guest appearance by Latin pop superstar Camilo Echeverry and arrives after nearly 8 years since Dosanjh performed at Coke Studio.
The legendary singer first debuted on Coke Studio Season 4. At the time, Dosanjh performed on the influential Punjabi folk singer Gurdas Maan’s composition “Ki Banu Duniya Da” alongside record producer & Indian music composer Jatinder Shah.
Notably, Dosanjh & Camilo’s debut collaborative effort arrives within days after the Latin singer shared an affecting track preview on Meta. “I’m Camilo and in August, there’s new music,” the Columbian singer wrote while previewing the alternative pop single earlier this week.
While Dosanjh’s fans presumed that “Palpito” might appear on his forthcoming 17th LP “Ghost”, Dosanjh astounded everyone by shockingly announcing two new albums. Reportedly, Dosanjh’s forthcoming album “Ghost” will not have any features.
In fact, Dosnajh’s back-to-back global collaborations will appear on a “separate collaboration album”.
With Camilo & Dosanjh’s latest single out on Coke Studio, anticipation for the Punjabi singer’s two new studio albums is at an all-time high. While his forthcoming album “Ghost” will feature 18 solo tracks, the ‘GOAT’ is yet to reveal any further details about the “collaboration album”.

Besides Camilo, Dosanjh has announced five major collaborations in as many weeks. Most recently, Dosanjh confirmed new music with NLE Choppa and Hip-Hop superproducer Honorable C.N.O.T.E.
That announcement was preceded by Dosanjh’s forthcoming record with Saweetie and The Bronx’s A Boogie With Da Hoodie and Hip-Hop superproducer London On Da Track. Reportedly, Dosanjh has a single with American pop singer Sia in the works too.
