Indian Hip-Hop’s iconic duo Seedhe Maut and leading underground emcee Lil Bhavi have linked up on a new rap record. Titled ‘Taakat’, the single is produced by Calm – the one half of Seedhe Maut alongside Encore ABJ – and DJ Sa. Notably, this is the sophomore single effort between DJ Sa and Seedhe Maut. Last year, the ‘Nayaab’ emcees linked up with Sa on ‘Nalla Freestyle’.
Seedhe Maut is fresh off its debut at Coke Studio Bharat and the ’11K’ single. Further, the duo is gearing up for their guest verse on Bhaktaa’s debut LP ‘Kaan Ke Neeche’ as well. The latest record arrives amidst Seedhe Maut confirming that a new album is in the works in January. Perhaps, the two singles might lead to a full-length LP this year.
‘Taakat’ is released alongside a hard-hitting visual treatment. Directed by WaddupJTN, the visuals are fuelled by ambition and life lessons. For Lil Bhavi, this is his debut effort with Seedhe Maut. Last year, he dropped a guest verse on Ab 17‘s ‘Khapeetar’ – the sixth record on the ‘Tez Filam’ EP.
