Hours After Releasing ‘Search and Rescue’, Drake Premiers ‘At The Gates’ With Lil Uzi Vert & Metro Boomin

Hip-Hop superstar and the co-founder of October’s Very Own Drake, born Aubrey Graham, has unveiled a new rap record with Lil Uzi Vert. Titled “At the Gate (All Painted)”, the record features a guest verse by ‘The Pink Tape’ emcee and is produced by Atlanta’s superproducer Metro Boomin.

Notably, Champagne Papi previewed the record on SiriusXM Radio’s Sound42. The official full-length preview arrived within hours after the Kim Kardashian-sampled single “Search and Rescue” was released. Produced by OVO’s superproducer Noah “40” Shebib, Sadpony and Bnyx, the track samples Kardashian’s conversation with her mother Kris Jenner from 2021.

“At the Gates” is the debut collaborative effort between Uzi, Drake and Boomin. As per Genius, the record was first previewed on September 6, 2021, by a DJ in a bowling alley. Later on, the title was confirmed on September 29th 2022 through an Instagram story post by photographer Noah Dillon.

This isn’t the first time that the Lollapalooza headliner has stirred the “October hype” through top-tier tracks on SiriusXM Radio. Last year, Champagne Papi paid his tributes to the late rapper by playing “295” and “G-shit” on his debut radio show ‘Table for One’ on SiriusXM Radio’s Sound42 channel. Reportedly, Drake is sitting on a single with Sidhu Moose Wala speculated to drop this year.

Just a day ahead of Drake’s “Search and Rescue” single, Moose Wala released his third posthumous single “Mera Na” with Burna Boy and Steel Banglez. In a similar fashion to the latest Drake preview, Moose Wala’s record was teased by Steel Banglez numerous times since October last year. “Turn us into legends in the streets, yeah
Now I’m in my bag to say the least
They was tryna label me deceased
Someone gotta show me the receipts, yeah,
If we on a island then you know it’s not no Coney s***,
No, it’s not no Staten s***, I ain’t on no phony s***,
Me? I’m good, I don’t need s***,
Uzi good, he don’t need s***,
Talkin’ ’bout, “They took my b****,” you know that ain’t my only b****,
Brought her to the crib, she walk the front door on some “Holy s***”,
Don’t ask for no feature, only rappin’ on my homies’ s***,
Let my brothers come up off my name and they don’t owe me s***,
I can’t let you come up off my name ’til I’m at the gates, pearly
Came back Richie, Hermès,
