Breakthrough Canadian emcee & songwriter AR Paisley has premiered a lethal freestyle. Titled “Lucky Luciano”, the nearly 3-minute cut captures the fierce “Drippy” rapper discussing Italian mafia ties and comparing himself to Sicily-born gangster Charles “Lucky” Luciano.

Available to stream exclusively on Paisley’s YouTube channel, the flagrant freestyle is mired by the Toronto-bred rapper’s boisterous lyricism about his top-tier status in South Asian rap music, love galore and more.

The latest freestyle is rumoured to be a part of a much broader series of freestyles by Paisley set to release every Sunday.

For Paisley, “Lucky Luciano Freestyle” arrives nearly a month after the “Love Sick” emcee joined forces with Chani Nattan & Inderpal Moga on “East To West” EP. The hard-hitting project traverses 7 massive songtitles including the previously released lead single “Heater”, “Block Boys”, “Seasons” and “What’s Beef”.

Besides releasing the much-awaited debut effort with Chani & Moga, Paisley joined forces with Jay Trak and Ali Gatie on “M.I.A.” and breakout Punjabi emcee Harsh Likhari on “Supply & Demand” singles earlier this year.

The tracks were preceded by Paisley’s huge single “Only You”.

In other news, legendary Indian emcee Sidhu Moose Wala has moved up a spot on Spotify’s “Top 10 Most Followed Hip-Hop Artists” list. The slain Punjabi rapper and singer, who was killed by the infamous gangsters in Mansa over two years ago, has now become the 4th most followed rapper in the world on Spotify.

With the historic posthumous feat, Moose Wala has surpassed a slew of global rap heavyweights including West Coast pioneer Tupac ShakurJay-ZKanye WestLil BabyFuturePlayboi Carti50 Cent and A$ap Rocky on the coveted list.
