Delhi’s hard-hitting rapper and record producer Rawal has returned to Indian rap after a long hiatus. The ruthless emcee, who hasn’t released a single rap record since Indian Hip-Hop classic “Sab Chahiye” LP, has linked up with Mumbai-based superproducer Zero Chill on the “Tabla Faad” single.
Clocking at two minutes and a half, the single features Rawal’s unapologetic confidence through fierce lyricism and mean choppa flow. Notably, the single arrives alongside an equally evocative music video directed by kyabc.
Interestingly, Rawal has dropped a subtle hint about new music already. The “Tabla Faad” visual treatment features a cryptic message towards the end. “Sherdil”, the message reads as Rawal stares from the Bombay Coast.

With “Tabla Faad”, Zero Chill continues to raze through Indian rap’s affecting soundscape with numerous hard-hitting records. Most recently, Zero Chill linked up with Gully Gang’s rising Punjabi emcee Riar Saab on “Venice” alongside pop single Mitika Kanwar.
Earlier this year, Zero Chill teamed up with Gully Gang’s MC Altaf and Sammohit on “Industry Galat” and dropped “Bevda Freestyle” with another Mumbai-bred emcee Yashraj. Further, Chill worked with Shia on the hard-hitting single “Shia Bia” and featured as a producer on Shah Rule’s debut album “Call You Right Back, I’m in Therapy”.
On February 26th, 2021, Rawal released one of the most influential Delhi rap records at the time.
Titled “Sab Chahiye”, the massive 18-track LP was executive produced by Bharg and featured flagrant guest verses by Delhi’s ruthless emcees Calm and Encore ABJ – who together helm Delhi’s iconic Hip-Hop act Seedhe Maut, Raga, Darcy, Ikka, MC Kode and more.
Fueled by Rawal’s slick lyricism and aggressive hurls, the sprawling LP is home to cult underground rap classics including “Bombay Sapphire”, “Jungli Kutta”, “Tagore Garden”, “Who Let The Dogs Out”, “Dikkatein” and “Chahiye Sab”.
