Drake Announces 8th Studio Album ‘For All The Dogs’, Drops ‘Titles Ruin Everything’ Poetry Book W/ Kenza Samir

Hip-Hop superstar and OVO bossman Drake, born Aubrey Drake Graham, has announced his 8th studio album. Titled “For All The Dogs”, the legendary emcee revealed the new project alongside the “Titles Ruin Everything” poetry book alongside songwriter Kenza Samir.

Published by Phaidon, “Titles Ruin Everything – A Stream of Consciousness” is Drake’s debut poetry book and “is a collection of never-before-published poems written together with his long-time friend Kenza Samir.”

“Flowing across 168 pages, the provocative musings translate Graham’s wit and talent for wordplay into potent stanzas. Together, these meditations on fame, romance, and relationships offer an unfiltered view of the artist’s inner world.”

However, one of the biggest announcements alongside The Boy’s poetry book is his 8th studio album. Announced just ahead of Drake & 21 Savage‘s “It’s All A Blur” tour, the LP will now serve as the follow-up to their hard-hitting 16-track record “Her Loss”.

Further, the announcement amidst Drake’s guest verses on Young Thug’s third LP “Business is Business”. Released by Thugger from prison, the legendary YSL emcee recruited Drake on “Parade On Cleveland” and “Oh U Went”.

Drake has announced “For All the Dogs” in an extraordinary fashion. In newspaper ads promoting his debut poetry book, Drake featured an exclusive QR code. While such codes are standard practice and more often lead to an online store for purchase, this QR code led to a website with the following message:

“I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.”

Drake is yet to reveal the LP’s release date.

Interestingly, this is the second instance within a week where a massive rap record was teased through Quick Response Codes. Last week, Thugger took to social media to share his unique QR code. The code led the user to “businessisbusiness.biz” and displayed a countdown pointing towards this Friday.

At the time, Thugger’s announcement arrived within hours of Gunna dropping his 4th studio album “A Gift & A Curse”.

Look out for “For All The Dogs” by Drake this year.
