‘Ghost’ by Diljit Dosanjh Debuts At 5th Spot on Billboard Canada Replacing ‘Utopia’ By Travis Scott, Singer Shuts Down Australia & New Zealand

Diljit Dosanjh’s iconic 17th album “Ghost” has finally debuted at the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart. The massive 22-track LP, which was released on September 29, continues to raze through the Billboard chart and has debuted at the 5th spot.

Notably, “Ghost” struck down Travis Scott‘s historic rap album “Utopia” to match Aujla’s recent Billboard breakthrough at the same spot in September. Karan Aujla’s sprawling “Bacthafu*up” follow-up “Making Memories” debuted at the 5th spot on Billboard Canada at the time.

Diljit Dosanjh’s massive Billboard Canada breakthrough arrives amidst his two sold-out arena shows in Australia and New Zealand.

The G.O.A.T., who performed a massive Coachella set in April this year, performed back-to-back at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia and Auckland City Arena in Auckland, New Zealand.

Notably, Dosanjh announced the long-awaited Australia & New Zealand tour dates just ahead of his 17th album.

During his massive arena sets, Dosanjh performed his epic LP “Ghost” including “Case”, “Feel My Love”, “Ghost” & more from the album. The legendary emcee further brought out young Punjabi fans onstage amidst his performances.

Interestingly, Dosanjh’s Aus & NZ live sets coincide with Karan Aujla’s sold-out shows in New York & Washington D.C. in the U.S.

In August, Dosanjh confirmed new music with NLE Choppa and Hip-Hop superproducer Honorable C.N.O.T.E.

That announcement was preceded by Dosanjh’s forthcoming record with Saweetie and The Bronx’s A Boogie With Da Hoodie and Hip-Hop superproducer London On Da Track. Reportedly, Dosanjh has a single with American pop singer Sia in the works too.
