Indian Hip-Hop’s influential young emcee and record producer Paradox, born Tanishq Singh, has returned with a new single. Titled “Check It Out”, the hard-hitting single features Haryanvi rap superstar and songwriter Parmish Verma and witnesses the coming together of two beacons of Haryanvi rap music.
Produced by Haryanvi rap record producer Starboy X, the single is released alongside provocative visuals capturing Verma’s extraordinary rap life which includes Rubicons, long hours at the gym and his towering people.
Amidst the incendiary single, Paradox joins Verma for a fiery verse and expands his ever-growing influence on the Northern rap music scene.
Notably, Paradox’s latest single arrives after his sprawling debut with Def Jam Recordings India. Earlier this year, the young rapper released his alternative rap and pop EP “The Unknown Letter”.
Traversing three distinct bodies of work – “Perfy”, “Hasti Rahe Tu” and “Sirhana”, the top-selling EP was a riveting experimentation which asserted Paradox’s diverse musicality.
“Check It Out” certainly cuts across two generations. While Paradox, 19, rose to prominence after his breakthrough performances at MTV Hustle and hard-hitting rap records across his nascent career; Parmish Verma, 32, is a veteran emcee who has numerous tope-selling records to his name including the Haryanvi rap anthems “Gaal Ni Kadni” and “Rubicon Drill” with Laddi Chahal.
