Earlier today, Indian Hip-Hop, Pop and R&B superstar Diljit Dosanjh shut down Coachella 2023. Performing on day two of the highly coveted festival, Dosanjh performed some of his biggest bodies of work amidst a star-studded line-up of artists including Kenny Beats, FloMilli, The Kid Laroi, $uicideboy$ and more.
Notably, Dosanjh is the first Punjabi artist to perform at the historic three-day festival and one of the very few Indian emcees to perform at international music festivals. Earlier this year, Divine and R&B singer King performed at the Wireless Festival in Abu Dhabi alongside Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert. Besides Dosanjh, the late Punjabi Hip-Hop artist Sidhu Moose Wala performed at the Wireless Festival UK in 2021.
Just ahead of his long-awaited live set at Coachella, Dosanjh shared an exclusive set of photographs on social media. In the pictures, the ‘G.O.A.T.’ is seen practising amidst the pre-show sound check. Have a look here.
Dosanjh performed a slew of hard-hitting records at Coachella. The Punjabi singer started his set with the G-Funk-produced “G.O.A.T.”. Penned down by India’s ‘Geetan Di Machine’ Karan Aujla, the legendary singer followed it up with his iconic R&B Pop record “Do You Know?”, “Born to Shine”, “Lemonade” and more.
