Within hours after Fivio Foreign previewed “Everyone Knows It” with Kanye West, another drill-influenced record by Ye has surfaced online. Reportedly titled “Mr Miyagi”, the track is produced by legendary Hip-Hop super producer Mike Dean, Pakistani record producer Aswad Asif or ‘AyoAA’ and West himself and features guest verses by Future and Playboi Carti.
Interestingly, “Mr Miyagi” was first featured during Kanye West’s ‘Donda 2’ listening party on February 22nd 2022. Held in Miami, West performed the entire LP just two days ahead of its release via the Stem Player.
While the legendary emcee performed numerous records including “True Love” feat. XXXTentacion, “Broken Road” feat. Don Toliver, “We Did It” feat. Baby Keem, Migos & Fivio Foreign, “Pablo” and “Happy” feat. Future and “Mr Miyagi”, the record never made it to the official LP release.
As per Genius, “a few hours after the album was released, an updated version of Ye’s hook was previewed on Instagram by producer Apex Martin. The snippet featured a slower tempo and a cleaner instrumental. It is likely that “Mr. Miyagi” will release in the future as Kanye affiliates have dubbed the February 24 release as “V2.22.22,” indicating that Donda 2 will continue to be worked on in other versions.”
