Hip-hop pioneer and legendary emcee Busta Rhymes, born Trevor George Smith Jr., has released his 7th studio album “Blockbusta”.
Executive-produced by marquee record producers Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, the 19-track LP features guest verses by Atlanta’s rap superstar Young Thug, Coi Leray, Migos affiliate Quavo, Afro rap icon Burna Boy, British emcee Giggs, Blxst, “Block Boy” Kodak Black, T-Pain & more.
Notably, the “Blockbusta” artwork is designed by the iconic Los Angeles-based designer Mike Amiri. Ahead of the album, Busta shared the flagrant artwork with his fans via Meta. Check it out below.
Earlier this year, the legendary veteran emcee received the BET Lifetime Achievement Award for his profound contribution to Hip-Hop.
Busta Rhymes is recognised for his flagrant choppa flow and hard-hitting rap records including his sprawling debut “The Coming” (1996), “When Disaster Strikes”, “Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front”, “Genesis” and more, has influenced emcees and record producers across generations.
Earlier this morning, Busta shared the provocative “BIG EVERYTHING” visual cut with his fans. Featuring a guest verse by DaBaby & T-Pain, the record is produced by American record producer Schife.
