Mass Appeal Links Up With Swizz Beatz For ‘Hip-Hop 50: Vol. 2’ F/ Nas, Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, Lil Durk and More

New York’s historic record label Mass Appeal has teamed up with rap music’s super producer Swizz Beatz, born Kasseem Daoud Dean, for the “Hip-Hop 50: Vol. 2” EP. Slated to release on April 21st 2023, the Swizz Beatz-produced project will reportedly feature guest verses from Nas, Lil Wayne, Fivio Foreign, Lil Durk, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, Bandmanrill, A Boogie With The Hoodie and more.

Notably, the EP will serve as the follow-up to DJ Premier’s debut Hip-Hop 50 EP. Titled “Hip-Hop50: Vol. 1”, the project was released last summer and featured numerous prolific emcees including Slick Rick, Run The Jewels, Remy Ma & Rapsody, Joey Bada$$, Lil Wayne and Nas himself.

Earlier today, Swizz Beatz revealed the exclusive artwork and tracklist for the highly anticipated volume. You can check it out here.

Mass Appeal’s “Hip-Hop 50” project honours the genre’s far-reaching influence across the globe after 50 glorious years. The ‘multi-billion dollar’ movement, which grew from Cindy Campbell’s 1973 end-of-summer party at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the West Bronx, New York, to a flagrant form of expression for underprivileged youth turns 50 this year. Clive Campbell, professionally referred to as DJ Kool Herc and Cindy’s brother, is credited with introducing rap music to the world on August 11th 1973. He was 16 years old at the time.

Look out for “Hip-Hop 50: Vol. 2” by Swizz Beatz.
