Amidst a top-tier recognition of the “Street Dreams” album, Indian rap royalties Divine and Karan Aujla have made a massive breakthrough on the Billboard Top 100 Canadian Albums charts. The rappers’ debut collaborative effort, which was recently recognized by legendary New York emcee Nas, has debuted at the 22nd spot on the Billboard chart.

The recognition, which arrives alongside American emcee Yeat debuting his album “2093” at the 5th spot, marks the second such instance when Divine has made inroads into Billboard for his collaboration with a Punjabi artist.

Last summer, the Mumbai-based rap mogul replaced the “Popular” single by The Weeknd, Playboi Carti & Madonna with his historic rap record “Chorni” featuring Sidhu Moose Wala on Billboard Hot 100 Canada.

For Aujla, “Street Dreams” becomes yet another studio album to debut on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. Last year, Geetan Di Machine‘s massive pop record “Making Memories” razed through the coveted Billboard chart and debuted with the 5th spotthe highest spot achieved by an Indian album at the time.

Reportedly, the album is produced by a slew of Hip-Hop superproducers including Grammy-winning record producers Allen Ritter and Boi-1Da, Wondagurl, Harry Fraud, Leven Kali, Stunnah Beats, TroxUmair & more.
