Atlanta’s rap superstar and Slaughter Gang CEO 21 Savage, born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, has finally released his first studio album in 6 years. Titled “American Dream”, this is Savage’s third LP and features guest verses by various Hip-Hop superstars including Lil Durk, Young Thug, Doja Cat, Travis Scott, Mariah The Scientist and R&B singer Brent Faiyaz.
Further, the “American Dream” album, which serves as the original score of his debut biopic “american dream: the 21 savage story”, features the “Her Loss” rapper’s debut collaborative effort with Brent Faiyaz and a track with Afrorap & Dancehall pioneer Burna Boy.
Interestingly, the LP does not feature guest verses by Savage’s frequent collaborators Drake and another Atlanta-trap superstar Future.
Ahead of the release of his massive rap LP, Savage shared the exclusive “American Dream” artwork and photographs of every featuring artists from their childhood.
Perhaps, the photographs signify Savage and other featured artists’ humble beginnings and their realisation of the ‘American Dream’.

While this is 21 Savage’s first solo studio album in 6 years, the BET “Hip-Hop Album of The Year” winner has been releasing numerous top-selling rap records.
While he linked up with Drake on “Her Loss” and Metro Boomin on “Savage Mode II” LP between sophomore LP “I Am > I Was” and now, 21 appeared on almost every major Hip-Hop project last year.
Most recently, Savage linked up with La Flame and Rob 49 in the “Topia Twins” music video and made an appearance on Activision’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” video game.
Besides the two flagrant guest features, “The Slaughter King” further appeared on “To Be Eaten Alive” by Mariah The Scientist, “For All The Dogs” by Drake, “I Told Them…“ by Afrorap & Dancehall superstar Burna Boy, “Magic 2” by Nas, “Business is Business” by Young Thug and more.
“American Dream” LP arrives alongside a provocative visual cut for “Redrum” – the third rap record on the 15-track album. Watch it below if you haven’t yet.
