Indian Hip-Hop superstar MC Stan, born Altaf Shaikh, has announced new music. As per the hard-hitting emcee, he is slated to link up with global rap star Tyla Yaweh for new music. Notably, the record arrives after his guest verse on KSHMR‘s incendiary track “Haath Varthi”.
Notably, this will be Stan’s sophomore collaborative effort. Earlier this month, Stan linked up with KSHMR and Gully Gang‘s Phenom on the superproducer’s lead single from his debut Indian rap album “Karam”.
While Stan has in fact announced an upcoming rap record with Yaweh, the young rapper fell short of revealing any further details about the track, or maybe even a multi-track project. More details awaited.
As reported earlier, Stan went on a long hiatus before finally putting out new music. The “Astaghfirullah” rapper’s guest verse on KSHMR’s “Haath Varthi” arrived after almost ten months. The ‘P-Town’ rap pioneer, who released his third top-selling LP “Insaan”, didn’t release new music until now.
After dropping the flagrant autotune-heavy rap record “Insaan” in February, Stan took a backseat and continued on the visual rollout of his album, ‘Basti Ka Hasti’ India tour and a victorious appearance in one of India’s leading reality TV shows.
The MC certainly looks forward to having a massive year. Look out for MC Stan’s sophomore global effort featuring Tyla Yaweh this year.
